Not your typical food journal, Morgenmete is a bi-annual print journal covering breakfast that combines humorous writing, photography and illustrations in a sendup of curated culture.
We focus on writing and images that present hard truths about culture, social media and death. It features rewarding content from a spectrum of creative voices presented with high production value and innovative art direction. It doesn’t dive into typical food content, recipes or food, but upends the format.
Tim Lampe is an Atlanta-based art director who has made bright and colorful brand work for Apple, MailChimp, CNN, Slack, Target, Samsung and others. He's had published writing on CNN, VSCO and First We Feast, and TIME Magazine has named me one of the Top 50 Instagram Photographers. He's spent the last two years writing 10,000 words on breakfast and learned a ton.
